Gas City Light Test
8- LED light fixtrues were installed on 1-20-2007 to replace 8 - 400 Metal Halide fixtrues. Watt hour meters were installed to track the usage.
One meter was installed to track 4- 400 Watt metal halide fixtures on the gas canopy and the other meter was installed to track the usage of the four HTS-6 LED fixtures. 10 months have passed.
The results are as follows:

Electric rates are calculated on the current electric rate of .085 per KWH .

| 64 fixtures cost $928.00 per month or $11,136.00 per year. | 64 LED's cost $113.28 per month or $1359.36 per year. |
The system would pay for itself in 2.7 years.
With a 100% usable life span of 11.6 years.
This is assuming the electric rates do not change and we are not calculating any depreciation.
